There is great hype that working online is a great success, but most people attempt and fail.

The reason is that they don’t get it that you have to create your own success.

People will tell you that they are making a lot of money online, you will see numerous success stories on the internet, but at the end of the day, it’s your mindset and effort that you will use to create your success.

Here are 5 keys you need to know in order to create your own success.

“The number one key to success in life is to master your own state. If you can manage and master your states, there’s nothing you can’t do.”

-Tony Robbins

Is it possible to unlock your potential for more success?

We all have a natural potential and in the course of our lives, it is influenced by many factors, such as our family circle, our environment, our culture etc.

We all aspire to make sense of our lives. But sometimes, our current situation does not allow it because we oscillate between the feeling of helplessness and our inability to overcome problems.

Life is made up of ups and downs, it is the very nature of existence and we must do with it.

Despite everything you were told when you were a child, you have the ability to unlock your potential. Neurobiologists are now convinced that the brain is malleable at any age.

And this characteristic of the brain pushes us even to curiosity, that is to say, the ability to learn new things or the discovery of unknown things.

Here are 5 keys you need to know to unlock your potential in order to create your own success.

1. Don’t just copy, learn and discover yourself first

If someone makes $80,000 selling ebooks doesn’t mean that you’ll get started and just make that amount.

First, you have to learn what it takes to make and sell ebooks or build a successful website, then evaluate yourself and see if you have the skills to do so.

It all starts with learning, research, and discovery, and then success will follow. Always check that it is something that you can fit into before you get started.

But the most important thing of all is to love what you do and success will follow.

“You should learn from your competitor but never copy. Copy and you die.”

-Jack Ma

2. Don’t quit when you fail

Regardless of the type of venture that you are undertaking, quitting should not be an option.

If you get started, and you fail to do so well, take some time to evaluate the reason behind your failure. Maybe you just need a different marketing approach, a different niche or a new service delivery channel.

Thomas A. Edison said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Do your research and try to improve as much as you can. Most people who are successful today created their success by not giving up when failure occurred.

3. Diversify

Diversify means that you do more. Diversification is the most important part when it comes to building your business online.

As the result, it can be embracing more ways to promote and expand a single venture or it can be taking up different online income generating ideas and working on them.

Make it an initiative to do something to diversify your online income. To make your business online safer and durable, your revenue streams must come from different sources.

Things change very rapidly on the internet and you never know, the money that you earn from a source today will be there tomorrow. Do a new task, every day, week or month.

This way you will earn more income and become more successful.

4. Avoid procrastination

Procrastination is a big hindrance to creating your success, therefore, you must avoid pushing tasks ahead or taking too long to act on something.

How to fight procrastination?

“Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.”

-Napoleon Hill

Get used to making plans so that you can divide the tasks to be accomplished. Too often, we abandon projects because we want to do everything at the same time.

By dividing tasks into several independent processes, you have a clear picture of what you need to do in the next few days.

You can split a task into as many sections as you like.

Have a list of tasks that you ought to accomplish and make sure that you do them on time. When you have accomplished what is on your list, make a new list and keep going.

When you are free, learn something new that can help you to move forward to your goals. During your daily occupation, you must keep in a corner of your mind your target.

Put your skills, thoughts and what you learn into action to create your success and fulfillment and understand that through action that you will be able to accomplish much in life.

5. Think of your purpose

What is your purpose in life? What are you doing here? What is your mission on this planet?

Many people cannot answer these questions because they don’t have any vision.

They feel they can not do it no matter what they do, and whatever encouragement others bring to them.

Because they are completely blind to their day-to-day problems and they feel like they are trapped on a hamster wheel.

Some of you may have heard once or twice in your life that the key to success is to work hard, but hard work does not necessarily mean success. This is a false belief.

Success means Mindset. What is your Mindset?

If you have some difficulty in applying the previous points to unlock your potential, it has to do with your mindset.

Your mindset is a package of knowledge, of the usual ways of thinking and of beliefs, of the psychic and moral dispositions characteristic of an individual.

As you can see, each individual has their own mindset. So it’s something that can be malleable. There are two basic mindsets: fixed mindset and growth mindset. Here is an article that explains the difference between the two mindsets.

What would it be, if you could develop and maintain a growth mindset

Write down what you want and make a vivid mental image of YOU as a successful person. What is the one quality that all successful people have in common?

“You must be passionate, you must dedicate yourself, and you must be relentless in the pursuit of your goals. If you do, you will be successful.”

-Steven Garvey

If you want to succeed, you must be passionate about what you’re doing.

Furthermore, you must take responsibility for both your failures and successes, consequently, you have to be consistent and diligent by accomplishing your everyday task to move your business forward.

In conclusion, you do not create your success overnight but with hard work, diligence, consistency and intelligent planning.

The watchword is patience. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
